Sub Cart

Substitute plans are tough to write as it is. Add another layer of moving around the building while you're at it is like asking someone to walk on a balance beam with their hands tied behind their back and a plate on their nose.

To make the sub process as smooth as possible, I have an emergency sup shelf in my closet.

It's right in front of you when you walk into the closet. Everything you need is on the shelf. Just load the cart and go. If there's stuff on the cart because this was a real emergency and I didn't have time to set it up for you, just throw my stuff anywhere. This works... I think. I've only tested it out on super-substitute teachers, not the average or less than average substitute who takes my job from time to time.

Today, I saw something genius.

Of course! A SUB CART! Get a smaller cart, transfer all my stuff on the shelf to the cart, and the sub is ready to go! You'll be that much more relieved about the state of your classes as you try to survive the flu at home. ;)
